If nursing is for you, this is where to come to gain the knowledge, expertise and skills to deliver that personal caring touch for which nurses have been known throughout the centuries. Nursing has always been very special to me. It is one of those rare professions that really matters. Nursing will change your life forever, and you certainly will change the lives of all those you touch and care for throughout your life. When I think of all the people I have touched, especially students, it is almost like magic! I get to teach so many people who are going to make a difference in this world, a real difference. We at Mercy School of Nursing are always open to new ideas and students, and we try very hard to reach out to each student who steps through our doors to make him or her the best nurse possible. Why do people go into nursing as a profession? Usually because they are very special. They have a desire to make a difference in this world to reach out to help others.
