Learning Resource Center
The purposes of the Learning Resource Center (LRC) are to:

• Support the curriculum and the educational goals of the school by assuring appropriate space, atmosphere and resources for learning needs of students and faculty
• Assist students in acquiring research skills and in the use of LRC resources
• Maintain a historical collection of nursing literature and materials pertaining to the school's history

The Learning Resource Center is designed to offer a variety of edcuational support aids. An internet-ready computer center enhances learning and provides opportunities for literature research. The LRC provides nursing resource texts and reference books for check-out on a limited basis as well as video programs and licensing examination practice tests. Students also have access to the on-line and print library at the Charlotte Area Health Education Center (AHEC). In the skills laboratory, students can practice basic nursing skills with assistance from qualified personnel.
